Final Concentration Portfolio

So during this Portfolio I had the wrong idea about "concentration". Unfortunately, I had to start over and focus on what my concentration really was. I decided that my concentration would be on what relaxes me and makes me most happy. Music, and my bedroom have always been the two things I can feel comfortable and relaxed in. I put these photos together and tried to make it a story. The story is suppose to symbolize me in my room listening to music and relaxing on my bed. I personally really like how this ended up. I think it explains what my concentration was pretty well. It was a little tricky trying to make the photos come all together and makes sense. But in the end I think I got the concept pretty well. I personally have gotten so much better with taking pictures, and getting the right idea because I have learned so much in this Photography class, thanks to Ms.Lao. Overall I enjoyed putting this together because It's something I'm so passionate about.

Here's another picture from prom day. This is a picture of my boyfriend putting the corsage he got for me on my wrist. I was actually really impressed with how it turned out. He picked the perfect colors to match my dress. My prom day/night was very well spent(:

So I know I'm late on the photo of the week. I honestly completely forgot about it.... My mind was was too focused on prom for the next day. Speaking of prom, here's a picture of me and my boyfriend. This is before we left for pictures with the entire group I went with. I got my dress in LA. It was actually pretty cheap considering the fact that girls spent 300 to 600 dollars on their dresses. This is a special picture to me because it was my prom night, and I got to spend half of the day with a special person and all of my friends.

I decided to make this my photo of the week because I really like this picture of my mom. Yes, this is my mom. A lot of people think she's my sister. I took this picture wen we were doing the 4 in 1 project. She was "getting in character". But the reason I selected this picture is because these past few days have been really hard for me, and I couldn't have kept a positive mind set If it wasn't for her.

I chose this to be my photo of the week because my friend works at Dole in Belmont park and it was my first time trying it and it was super good!  It's just vanilla frozen yogurt and pineapple frozen yogurt mixed together with dole pineapple juice poured on it.

4 In 1 Project

In this project, we had to play with the brightness of the camera. This project was a little tricky for me because I'm not very good at adjusting the brightness just to the right spot. My model was my mom, we had fun with it and played around with the different looks. I tried making the more "serious" pictures darker. I didn't really know how to get rid of her tan line on her shoulder, I tried but it didn't work out so well. Overall I think this project was really fun because I did this at home, and I made my own white background. I just think I did well trying to play with different looks and tried moving around the brightness on each picture. The first picture I tried to do butterfly, the second picture was split, the third picture is rembrant, and the fourth picture was bloop.

The other day I went to Sunset Cliffs because I just wasn't having the best day. I went there in a really bad mood, and when I pulled into one of the parking lots at a cliff I saw that someone was getting married on the other side! It was so beautiful, I just had to take a picture because I was looking at the side point of view and the waves were so pretty! It lightened up my mood a bit, and made me realize that one bad day is not the end of the world and to keep my head up!

This was my Easter dessert! Me and my family went to Humphrey's by the Bay for Brunch. It was a really good buffet. The cheesecake probably looks really good to you, but my mom can make way better cheesecake, haha. But don't get me wrong, it was still good! It was really funny because our waitress kept on giving me Champaign, it was a really great compliment though! It means I look older than my age. Of course, after lunch we did an Easter egg hunt with my siblings and it was really funny to see them struggle to look for the eggs, but eventually they found them.

B00TEA!

I have started my fourteen day tea deatox! I am super excited about it because its super healthy for you and it cleans out your system! I also want to loose some weight for this summer because I'm going to Jamaica this summer with my family and my best friend! Hopefully it actually works! Along with the tea you have to eat right, and exercise at least every other day! I have to do a day time cleanse, and a night time cleanse!
